Maker's Mark Cellar Aged Straight Bourbon

Maker's Mark Cellar Aged Whisky is aged to taste. Cellar Aged Bourbon undergoes an extended secondary maturation in a limestone cellar, developing a deeper, richer and more complex flavor. To achieve this, we used the Maker's Mark limestone cellar to age the bourbon for an additional five to six years after the standard ~6 year maturing in our traditional rickhouses. This slows down the tannic impact that occurs during maturation while allowing the barrel to develop complexities and deeper, darker flavor characteristics.
