The Botanist Islay Gin

The Botanist Gin is the first & only Islay Dry Gin conceived, distilled and hand-crafted at Bruichladdich Distillery by Distiller Adam Hannett on Islay. Islay is the southernmost of the Inner Hebrides Islands, off the west coast of Scotland. The Botanist Gin is the only gin brand to employe a full-time professional Forager James Donaldson with a degree in Botany. 22 foraged Islay botanicals are hand picked locally and sustainably on Islay and added to the 9 standard botanicals in a classic gin all done by hand, by eye and by nose. It is distilled slowly at very low pressure, and just once in a Lomond Pot Still delivering a smooth and delicate floral spirit.
