Kaiyo Whisky The Single 7yr

Kaiyo Whisky 'The Single' is a 7 year old whiskey, made on a coffey still in Japan, and aged in Kentucky and Tennessee bourbon barrels before spending 6 months aging in Japanese Mizunara oak. All of our whiskies are made from malted barley, un-chillfiltered, and enjoy a three-month ocean-finished maturation that helps bring out the unique flavors that can only be obtained from Mizunara Oak.

Tasting Notes:On the nose, this whisky is crisp and clean with fruity and floral notes. The same flavors continue on the palate with a spark of sweetness up front: vanilla, honey, and jasmine. Then it gives way to the real star of the show: lots of exotic fruits, such as coconut, banana, pineapple, mango, green apple, pear and honeydew. It takes the quintessential Japanese whisky flavor profile and brings it to the next level.
