Each year, the Idaho State Liquor Division (ISLD) goes beyond overseeing retail operations to support broader community efforts aimed at reducing underage drinking and alcohol misuse. Through a $60,000 annual education award from the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA), ISLD administers an Educational Mini Grant Program that empowers schools, nonprofits, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations in their prevention and education efforts.
ISLD proudly partnered with the following organizations to support innovative, local programs that make a meaningful impact across Idaho:
By investing in these projects, ISLD is helping to foster safer communities and promote responsible choices through education, awareness, and engagement. Together with our partners, we’re making a difference—one ID check, one conversation, and one initiative at a time.
Looking Ahead: 2025–2026 Mini Grant Program
ISLD remains committed to supporting and participating in alcohol education and prevention statewide. As a continuation of this mission, and with thanks to a separate $60,000 education award from NABCA, ISLD will launch a competitive 2025–2026 Educational Mini Grant Program.
Eligible applicants—including community organizations, schools, colleges, universities, law enforcement, and nonprofit agencies—will be invited to apply for grants starting at $250 and up to $10,000. These funds aim to support the development, enhancement, or expansion of effective alcohol education and prevention initiatives.
The 2025–2026 Mini Grant Submission Form will be available starting September 1, 2025.
All submissions must be received by November 15, 2025.
ISLD recognizes the outstanding work already underway across Idaho and looks forward to continuing to support projects that build healthier, more informed communities.
